For the past two years, I’ve been using a Softweave Cookies and Cream edition as my full-time desk chair. Although not the flashiest Titan design, it’s been almost perfect for my needs. This review sums up the Cookies and Cream chair’s merits for first-time Titan chair buyers.

Since late 2019, I had been using a Secretlab Titan 2020 and Omega Triple Black Softweave as my full-time desk chairs. In October 2021, Secretlab sent over a pair of Titan Evo chairs: an Ash Leatherette XL and a medium Cookies and Cream Softweave fabric edition.

For my 5’9″ (177 cm) size, both were usable. However, the XL version felt a bit cavernous. In contrast, the medium edition felt like a perfect fit for my size.
Beyond a better fit, I also found the Softweave cozier. In comparison, leatherette feels a bit more formal.

As a result, I’ve spent the past two years using my Cookies and Cream Softweave chair 90% of the time. This review documents my likes and dislikes discovered during this time.

Titan Cookies and Cream Chair Dislikes
After two years of use, I give my Cookies and Cream Titan a score of 9/10. During my testing period, two aspects spoiled perfection:
Split Armrest Cap
After around one year of use, one of my armrest caps began to tear. Instead of gluing it back in place, I let it dangle until it fell out.

According to Secretlab support, this is a known issue with first-generation Titan Evo armrest caps. In a meta-analysis of 100 Trustpilot reviews, seven users also reported torn armrests.
Notably, all users reporting torn armrests also reported a fast resolution after contacting Secretlab support.
Body Oil And Dust Stains
After six months using my Cookies and Cream chair, I was forced to battle stains. I learned that while sitting on fabric, the body sheds skin dust. At the same time, it secretes oils.

Over time, dust and body oil combine into a stinky paste that can make a Cookies and Cream chair look and smell disgusting.
My ultimate solution was to spend $120.49 on a Bissell Little Green Wet-Dry Vac. However, before spending cash on a Little Green, some home cleaning remedies also work.

For instance, giving your fabric chair a baking soda bath once a month will break down dirt particles to get vacuumed up. This can delay dirt buildup and the need for more powerful methods. Learn more:

The adjustability (lumbar support, headrests, armrests, recline) does everything I need.
The 65 kg/m³ seat padding is perfect: firm enough to provide good stability, yet soft enough to feel comfortable. Aesthetics have also exceeded my expectations. Even after two years, the speckled 3D knit still mesmerizes.
Even so, a few flaws arose. Find below a summary of highs and lows to expect if you buy a Cookies and Cream chair:
Incredible Comfort And Back Support
In a meta-analysis of 200 verified Titan user reviews, 149 of 200 reviewers lauded the incredible comfort of their Titan chair.

The broadest definition of ‘comfort’ is an absence of discomfort. In my 2+ years using a Cookies and Cream chair, I’ve only suffered discomfort once.
Achieving Perfect 0° Neck Posture In A Titan
The only time I felt pain in my Titan chair was after discovering myself a victim of text neck syndrome (a naturally slumped forward posture). To fix that, I got some advice from top esports doctors. They told me to set my recline to a steep 100° while consciously maintaining a 0° neck posture. It worked!

However, for around 2 weeks after switching up my style, my upper back and shoulders throbbed with pain. In hindsight, this was simply my muscles adjusting to new paradigms.

After around a week, my upper back and shoulder soreness began to subside. Then, my forward-leaning habit stopped. Instead, my back muscles adapted (with my Titan chair’s help) by holding itself upright and habitually maintaining a 0° neck.
Bottom line: expect a comfortable sitting experience out of the box. Those wanting to achieve postural perfection will also find the Titan well-equipped to support that. Learn more:
Durability: Almost Perfect After 2 Years
Over 2 years (November 2021 to present) I have used my Cookies & Cream chair full-time (5-10 hours per day) around 80% of the time. That roughly works out to around 584/ 730 days.

During this time, I’ve been very rough on the chair. The main abuse came from several heavy scrubbing sessions while learning how to keep the fabric clean. Observations after 2 years:
- Functionality: everything continues to work perfectly.
- Upholstery: comfortable and breathable; needs regular cleaning attention.
- Padding: still feels the same as the first day. No flattening or shape distortion.
- Comfort: perfect. I have failed to find a desk chair that performs better.
- Posture support: incredible. I started using this chair with good lower back posture. Now, the chair keeps my lower and upper spine in a perfect neutral posture alignment.
- Aesthetics: amazing. Every time I look at my (freshly-cleaned) Cookies and Cream chair, it feels like falling in love all over again.
Despite so many plaudits, I still have one complaint. Keeping my Cookies and Cream chair is annoying. Having a Bissell Little Green on hand psychologically helps. However, that costs an extra $120.49 — on top of an already expensive gaming chair.
Cookies and Cream Fabric Upholstery
My previous fabric chair was a 2020 Series Omega Triple-Black. It blends three shades of black yarn with flecks of white. The Cookies and Cream chair is its technical opposite. White dominates, with flecks of black and grey adding the contrast.

Black is the least reflective color. It absorbs all color wavelengths, reflecting none back to the eyes. Indeed, I found that the Triple-Black design fits seamlessly into any type of design. It doesn’t stand out — it blends in.
In comparison, the Cookies and Cream chair lights up a room. White is one of the most reflective colors. It catches and reflects all wavelengths of light back to the eyes.
Compared to the Triple Black chair, I found the Cookies and Cream brightness stands out. It’s inspired me to keep my workstation pristine to match the crisp, clean looks of the chair.
Cookies & Cream Over 2 Years
Before I bought a Bissell Little Green Wet-Dry vac, I manually scrubbed my Cookies and Cream chair to keep it clean. That’s hard work. It also delays time spent working in front of the computer.

For those reasons, I sometimes let the stains build up on my chair too much before doing a cleaning. However, studies show that unkempt workstations negatively affect mood, cognition, and emotions.
In practice, I found working in a soiled fabric chair increasingly depressing. In sharp contrast, sitting in a freshly cleaned one is as thrilling as sitting in a brand-new one.

Bottom line: if you are able to manage the cleaning issue, the Cookies and Cream chair guarantees a good time.
Ergonomic Functionality
There’s enough adjustability here for everything a desk worker needs. For a detailed specs analysis, see this Titan 2022 Series gaming chair review. Here are the highlights:
The dial on the left lets you adjust the height of support to fill your lower back curve. Once that’s in place, toggle the knob on the right to adjust the depth of support. If you need help to configure, see this Lumbar Support Biomechanics Tutorial.
This yields two sweet benefits. First, it gives the chair a clean, modern, professional look. That reflects the incredible amount of thought that went into this chair’s aesthetics.
The functional benefit is a much greater adjustment range. Without straps, you can move the pillow from the top of the backrest to the bottom of the embroidered “T”.

The seat’s side edges have also been pared down. While most gaming chairs have hard, bladed seat edges, the Titan has a gentler slope.

That helps guide the user to the center of the seat, without restricting legroom.
Excellent Sizing
Titan 2022 Series chairs come in small, medium, and XL sizes. Each comes with a recommended minimum and maximum height. Based on my tests, sticking with Secretlab’s size ratings will yield the best results.

My medium-sized Cookies and Cream fits me perfectly. In comparison, my Ash Leatherette Titan XL also fits my spine. However, I find the XL chair’s seat a touch too deep for my legs.

The surest way to ensure a good fit is to stick with Secretlab’s size ratings. In most cases, the seat depth determines the best fit:
Titan 2022 | Small | Medium | XL |

Best Titan Evo Softweave Style?
After two great years, I don’t regret choosing my Cookies and Cream Softweave chair. The soft, breathable, cozy fabric upholstery met my expectations. The Cookies and Cream design has exceeded my expectations.

The speckled gradient knit fabric shows bright intensity when you look at it closely. With a glance, each pass of your eyes will show different patterns. After two years, I still find it thrilling after a fresh cleaning.
However, when the time comes to replace my chair, I won’t get another Cookies and Cream. It plus my Triple Black Softweave chair gave me four years of neutral hue vibrations. Next time, I’ll go for something more colorful.

To that end, Secretlab now serves up fifteen Softweave fabric styles. The Cookies and Cream edition is one of the plainest. See how it compares with some of the latest and greatest designs:

Cookies and Cream Chair Conclusion
The SoftWeave Secretlab Titan 2022 Series is the best fabric gaming chair on the market. After 2 years using my Cookies and Cream chair, its performance scores a 9/10 because of minor issues.
Despite the quibbles, my satisfaction with this chair is 100%. For one thing, it’s been consistently comfortable over 24 months. For another, it can (for those who want it) support biomechanically perfect back and 0° neck postures.
A year after using my Cookies and Cream, I went searching for something objectively better. I tested all of the world’s finest ergonomic office chairs. Several matched up with the Titan’s support properties. But in my opinion, none exceeded the Titan.

Final impressions: world-class back and neck posture support for under $600 — and a 5-year warranty — is an incredible bargain. The Cookies and Cream Softweave fabric is delightful: soft, breathable, and visually energetic.
