The Anda Seat Kaiser 4 might represent the pinnacle of high-end gaming chairs. Its predecessor, the Kaiser 3, combined the best features of the Secretlab Titan Evo with a softer, more comfortable seat. Now, the Kaiser 4 raises the bar even further with a flip-out lumbar support and dynamic 5D armrests. Versus the Titan Evo, the Kaiser 4 stands out as a strong, potentially superior gaming chair alternative.
Innovation in ergonomic seating has been slow. Lumbar-supported designs promoting neutral postures have been the norm since the early 1990s.
In 2021, Secretlab’s Titan Evo revolutionized gaming chairs with its 4-way adjustable integrated lumbar. A year later, Anda Seat replicated the Titan Evo’s new features into its own Kaiser 3 chair.
I tested the Kaiser 3 vs Titan Evo chairs in my office over several months before declaring the Titan my subjective pick. While both chairs share the same features, the sitting experience differs.
The Titan Evo has firmer seat padding and excellent support for precise neutral sitting postures. The Kaiser 3 differed with a softer seat and better support for casual sitting postures.
Anda Seat’s Kaiser 4 builds on the Kaiser 3 with enhanced lumbar support, improved armrest functionality, and milder seat side bolsters.

Chair Functionality: Kaiser 4 Wins
Mild pressure to the lower back helps maintain a straight spine while sitting — but every spine is unique. Effective lumbar adjustability lets users customize support to match their specific lower back curve.
In 2021, Secretlab set a new standard in gaming chairs with its integrated 4-way adjustable lumbar support system.
The Kaiser 4 features a similar 4-way adjustable lumbar system — but takes it a step further with a flip-out lumbar unit. This gives users more customization options to support their lower backs.
Brilliantly, the controls for the flip-up functionality are embedded in the right side of the seat as dials. Having them within such easy reach makes the flip-out aspect a lot more tempting (and fun) to use.
Beyond the lumbar unit, the Kaiser 4 also exceeds the Titan with superb 5D ‘flip up’ armrests. The traditional 4D adjustments (up, down, side to side, forward/ back) have a larger range than Titan armrests. The 5D flip up addon supports forearms while mobile or console gaming.
Neither of these features are game-changers. The point of both chairs remains dynamic neutral posture support. However, the Kaiser 4’s flip-out lumbar and 5D arms give users many more options to customize their sitting experience.

Sitting Experience
The Titan Evo and Kaiser 4 both come with firm 65 kg/m³ seat padding densities. Firm padding provides better stability, which places less strain on back muscles while sitting. However, some complain that the Titan’s padding feels too firm.
To address that, Anda Seat lays an extra layer of softer padding atop the seat block. The result is a much softer, more cushiony sitting experience. Combined with the flip-up lumbar and 5D arms, the Kaiser 4 provides a more casual, versatile ride.
In contrast, the Titan’s firmer feel and classic support adjustments provides (in my experience) better support for biomechanically perfect neutral postures (0° neck tilt + 25-45° lower back curve).
Bottom line: ergonomic purists wanting the best possible neutral sitting support should consider the Titan. Casual gamers wanting a softer, more versatile experience should consider the Kaiser 4.
Value For Money
Both models boast superb build qualities, 5-year warranties, and solid after-care support. Prices are comparable.

Conclusion: Two Awesome Chairs
The Titan Evo and Anda Seat Kaiser 4 both support dynamic neutral postures over long periods. If you’ve after classic neutral posture support, the Titan remains the premier choice.
On the flip side, those not obsessed with neutral biomechanics will enjoy the Kaiser 4 chair’s softer seat and extra adjustable features.
